Dream on for Project # 3 and 4 - Need to assemble a team of volunteers before launch 

 Paint Bengaluru Green and More is all about online leverage for greener and sustainable Bengaluru. We have already launched two projects, first one to leverage online information to promote easy propagation of plant varieties across Bengaluru, and the second one is to create an effective and free online catalog of all green or sustainability based stakeholders including businesses, individuals, government agencies etc. We are able to quickly launch these efforts by releasing an online survey associated for each of them. Now, it is simply the question of green enthusiasts having faith and trust in us and respond with positivism and enthusiasm of participation.

 We need to do more, and up our challenges for increased impact. Already two other projects are visible as high priority. This blog is to spell out the conceptualization of these two projects. We need to assemble a set on online savvy committed volunteers before launching these projects. So, appeal to you to help us by signing in as a volunteer / leader / expert for these efforts. Thank you!

 Project # 3: Online Help Desk for Gardening / Green / Sustainability Agenda

 Even after 3-4 years of active engagement in Gardening / Green / Sustainability Agenda related collaborations, it is bit frustrating to see the beginners struggling to get clarity and confidence to start their efforts towards gardening / sustainability etc. Though there are conserted efforts by OFYT workshops, areawise OTG team engagements and effective write ups by souls like Mr. Srikant Kapuganti, the sense of confusion and despair on behalf of a beginner is quite disturbing.  Recently, the new head of Basavanagudi Organic Gardeners, Mrs. Anu Chhabra shared the same frustration with me, I could see clarity as to what needs to be done, and now it needs to be done. We need to build an online help desk, FAQ library, Wikipedia kind of information library with links to effective detailed information all over the web. At this stage, we need to do this with the volunteering efforts from those noble souls who are willing to help with their online savvyness. I (Nataraja Upadhya) can lead the startup efforts in this regard for now.

 This project, when implemented, will bring huge impact to take the cause of green and sustainability to collectively mature to the next level, and will help build bridges between all the stakeholders across dreams, needs, priorities, knowledge, experience, wisdom, techniques, technology, products, services, entrepreneurs, businesses, policy etc.

 Project # 4: Online Media channel dedicated and owned by Paint Bengaluru Green

 Online streaming media is very effective in reaching the citizens through web in general and social networks in particular. I (Nataraja Upadhya) have enough experience in creating the necessary contents, publishing them online on platforms like YouTube and promoting those content across the social networks. We need to leverage this media effectively for our overall campaign and to showcase specific efforts and results of all stakeholders associated with Green / Sustainability agenda. We, again, need a set of media savvy volunteers assisting us with creation, publication and promotion of online streaming media content. We also need a set of bloggers and social media anchors, before launch.

 It has become harder for the new-bees to attract ad revenue through monitization of Youtube videos as the YouTube has raised the bar much higher regarding viewership for such revenues. But, still there is hope that the media blitz related to this cause could cross those barriers eventually, and become an effective source of indirect income for this initiative, helping this humble and informal start up to become a registered trust with professional expressions and engagement, aiming global benchmarks of engagement and impact, and eventually leaving a legacy for longer time with endowments for the same cause or related causes. Therefore, this humble beginning in media blitz has far reaching impact, and again needs a dozen of media savvy volunteers to help. The spirit is more important than skills, as the skills associated can be acquired through internal training and mentoring.  Again, looking for your help as a volunteer / expert / mentor in this regard.
